Northern Recording has
a 20 year track record of innovation in popular music
education and we have gained a national reputation
for our work. We have a strong interest in digital
media and the internet which is revolutionising the
way music is made, taught and distributed, opening
up new creative and commercial possibilities for young
musicians at a local level
We specialise in providing high quality education
which gives young people a grounding in the wide range
of creative and technical skills encompassed by modern
music making. We work with various organisations including
junior and secondary schools and the youth service.
Each project is custom designed to meet individual
needs and budgets and can range from short talks,
visits and demonstrations to a twenty-week long intensive
project that ends in a CD release and large scale
concert.
