Music Work - Primary schools

Arranger
and vocal coach, Graham Wood, rehearsing a group of
primary school children prior to recording.
Projects with primary school
children include singing, songwriting and performing.
This work helps to develop singing skills and gives
them an introduction to what goes into recording their
favourite music. A typical project would involve:-
- Rehearsing
songs with a professional vocal coach using specially
produced backing tracks
- Recording
in the digital studio with the sound engineer
- Working with
a choreographer to put together a stage show
- An end of
project concert, held either in school or a larger
community venue.
- Each child
is given a CD copy of the songs and the material
is made available on the website for pupils to access.
It
has been described as..
"an
experience which will stay with these children for
life."
