In the early nineties, we promoted a lot of Celtic rock at the Demi as about half the population of Consett are third generation Irish. Bands included U Slosh, Davy Spillane, Ron Kavana.

Other memorable gigs have included the Hank Wangford Band in Leadgate Club, Freddie “Fingers” Lee at the Demi, Lindisfarne at The Empire, Consett, the Oyster Band at Delves Lane Club, Isaac Guillory at the Back of the Shaft, Leadgate.
